The Heat and Warmth Fund (THAW) Online Application Portal
Start a new online application, finish an incomplete online application, or check the status of your online application.
Please note: These items are required before THAW can begin processing your online application:

All sections of the application must be completed.

Uploaded copy of the applicant’s valid ID (i.e. driver’s license or state-issued ID)

Uploaded copy of the applicant’s Social Security card.

Social Security numbers for all household members.

Uploaded proof of all household income for the past 60 days.

Including: unemployment benefits, Social Security income, pension/retirement benefits, Veterans Affairs benefits, cash assistance (FIP), adoption subsidy/direct care, worker’s compensation, alimony, interest annuities, and dividends.

For child support, upload proof for past 90 days of proof

If you are self-employed, complete the Self-declaration of Income section. You must provide documentation of this income.

If your household has no income, complete the Zero Income Affidavit section.

Uploaded copy of the most recent utility bill for which you are seeking assistance.
